How does paying a Pro work?
When you accept a quote you pay the inspection/transport fee, which WorkChop holds until you confirm the Pro has arrived. Then you choose to pay 30%, 50%, 70% or 100% of the job — through Paystack, straight to the Pro's bank account — and pay the rest before you confirm the job is done. Because job payments go directly to the Pro, pay a part first and the rest once you're happy with the work.
What if a Pro doesn't show up, or does bad work?
Report it right from the job — our team reviews every case and can act on the Pro's account, including penalties. You never pay for the job until the Pro has arrived, and the transport fee stays held until you confirm they did.

How do I become a verified Pro?
Sign up with your NIN and bank details, add up to 3 skills, and optionally upload certificates. Our admin team reviews and approves every account before you can go live and start receiving jobs.
Do I pay anything before hiring a Pro?
You only pay once you accept a quote — the inspection/transport fee, counted toward the agreed price and held until the Pro arrives. You pay for the job itself after they arrive. There's no platform fee for clients.
